The gardener’s passion for Japanese maples is evidenced at every turn, with 50 different cultivars interspersed throughout. There are Japanese maples that are ground covers, vase shape, oval shape, and a show a variety of colored leaves and shapes in addition to bark that can be rough, smooth or in-between.  Names like: Peve Starfish, Fairly Lights, Amber Ghost, Blue Moon, Arakawa, Kiyohime Yatsubusa illustrate the variety and uniquiness of the cultivars.
